D2N2 is delighted to have allocated £92,135 from the Local Growth Fund towards the transformation of the former Stapleford Police Station into a site for the Beeston Business Hub.

The project is part of the N2 Town Centres fund set up by D2N2 to serve communities in Nottinghamshire.

Having stood empty for 6 years, the former Police Station in Stapleford is being redeveloped to create office space for small businesses, within Stapleford Town Centre and the surrounding area, bringing approximately 14.5 jobs to the town.

The redevelopment of Stapleford Police Station is the start of a wider sustainable development plan for the area to transform it into a multi-functional hub for the local business community.

The former Police Station will become the next step on the ladder for the existing Beeston Business Hub; allowing businesses that have graduated from this incubation space more permanent, larger space, that offers the ability for them to grow their business further.
