Medical Technologies Technology Facility

D2N2 are proud to have invested £9.7 million of Local Growth Funding into the construction of the Medical Technologies Innovation Facility at Nottingham Trent University's Clifton Campus.

With a total cost of £23 million, the new facility will be a integrate work by scientists, engineers, clinicians and entrepreneurs; collaborating to develop products and materials.

The MTIF will eventually have two sites. A second at the Nottingham Enterprise Zone at Boots headquarters will be dedicated to product prototype production and commercialisation; with access to laboratories, clean rooms, technologies and expertise for processing, prototype development and preparing manufacturing processes.

Works are due to be completed in the summer of 2020.
