D2N2 Consultation on Government's Industrial Strategy

Evidence Base

The D2N2 LEP has amassed a wealth of information on the past, current and potential future growth of the economy of its area; of Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

It uses this research to inform its policies and decisions, directed at economic growth and jobs creation, and provides it free to partner businesses, local authorities and other organisations.

The D2N2 State of the Economy report published by D2N2 in 2013 was used to shape its long term Strategy for Growth 2013 to 2023 report.

Emerging Migrant Communities Report

In response to a request from the Equalities Challenge group, D2N2 has commissioned independent research into the economic and social impacts of emerging migrant communities in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to inform the strategy and activities of the LEP and its partners.

The report will form part of the SEP Evidence Base and be placed on the LEP Website.

Unlocking the otherwise lost potential of established and migrant communities represents an economic challenge to avoid a loss to growth and wealth creation across D2N2.
