EU Exit

The UK has now left the European Union.

There is now a transition period until the end of 2020 while the UK and EU negotiate additional arrangements.

The current rules on trade, travel, and business for the UK and EU will continue to apply during the transition period.

The EU Exit Transition Period is the central site for guidance aimed at businesses and individuals who want to know about the effects of leaving the EU.

Government have produced a web page to assist businesses in preparing for new trading rules coming into effect in 2021.

Our colleagues at the D2N2 Growth Hub - which works closely with and provides assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) - have also created a resource for businesses around the exit from the EU.
