BREXIT

 brexit 2-01

Following a 2016 Referendum, when the UK electorate voted to leave the European Union - the economic, trading and political partnership of 28 European countries.

Whilst there is still uncertaintly around the precise terms under which the UK will leave the EU, a wealth of advice and information has been produced for businesses by Government departments and other organisations on the possible effects for them of Brexit; and what they can do to minimise negative consequences and take advantages of new opportunities.

The D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership has produced this web page, collating current information, to aid businesses in its area (Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire) and beyond in their planning. Click on any links below to Read More.

Our colleagues at the D2N2 Growth Hub - which works closely with and provides assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) - have also created a resource for businesses around Brexit. This includes specific links to:

  • HM Revenue and Customs information
  • a Brexit Business Impact Survey
  • the BBC's comprehensive Brexit web page.
